Chrisotpher Columbus - Voyage of 1492

Your Highnesses, as Catholic Christians, and princes who love and promote the holy Christian faith, and are enemies of the doctine of Mahomet, and of all idolatry and heresy, determined to send me, Christopher Columbus, to the above-mentioned countries of India, to see the said princes, people, and territories, and to learn their disposition and the proper method of converting them to our holy faith; and furthermore directed that I should not proceed by land to the East, as is customary, buy by a Westerly route, in which direction we have hitherto no certain evidence that anyone has gone

Investments - Stocks and Bonds

" Most important, the prices of stocks and bonds reflect people's hopes and fears about the future, which means they can easily wander away from the realities of the present."

Being Rich

" We are losing our middle class, and a shrinking middle class is a threat to the stability of America and to world democracy itself. We want you to be rich so you can be part of the solution...rather than part of the problem."

- Donald J. Trump and Robert T. Kiyosaki

Life Choices

"The reason man may become the master of his own destiny is because he has the power to influence his own subconscious mind."

The Road Not Taken - Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.I

shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
